Shai is a second-year MBA candidate at Chicago Booth. She grew up in Chicago and spent the last decade advocating for climate, energy, and human rights policies around the world as a U.S. diplomat. Shai has worked as a sustainability strategy consultant for commercial and federal clients, an early-stage climate tech investor and LP at a big tech firm, and a builder of climate-financial data products. She is launching a startup at the intersection of care, circularity, and AI.
Fun Fact: Shai likes to reframe common idioms to reflect more sustainable language. Instead of saying, “Kill two birds with one stone,” she says, “Feed two birds with one scone.”
